The 2025 NFL Draft is less than 100 days away. Much will change between today and the end of April. Yet, there is no such thing as a bad time to do a mock draft. So, let’s dive into my second NFL mock draft of the year. You can read my first mock draft here.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Las Vegas Raiders receive pick 1. Tennessee Titans receive picks 6, 37, 2026 first-rounder, 2027 second-rounder.

1) Las Vegas Raiders (via Titans) – Shedeur Sanders (QB – Colorado)

The Raiders seem determined to make multiple big-time moves this offseason, starting with their head coaching search. Sanders has been linked to Las Vegas for the past several weeks. Don’t be surprised if Mark Davis and Tom Brady pull off a blockbuster move for the Colorado quarterback.

2) Cleveland Browns – Abdul Carter (EDGE – Penn State)

Despite Deshaun Watson re-tearing his Achilles, it doesn’t guarantee the Browns taking a quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft. The team must undergo a massive rebuild that will take a few years. Myles Garrett likely won’t want to be part of that rebuilding process. Therefore, Cleveland could trade the superstar and replace him with Carter.

3) New York Giants – Cam Ward (QB – Miami)

While Drew Lock had some solid moments to end the regular season, the Giants must find their new starting quarterback in the offseason. Unless they believe Sam Darnold is a long-term answer and can pull him away from the Minnesota Vikings, New York should explore all options in the draft.

4) New England Patriots – Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT – Texas)

New England hired the right head coach after a year of Jerod Mayo’s incompetence. Drake Maye is a superstar in the making but needs help along the offensive line. The Patriots had the worst unit in the NFL last season. Thankfully, Banks would transform the group as a rookie.

5) Jacksonville Jaguars – Travis Hunter (CB/WR – Colorado)

Reportedly, most of the NFL view Hunter as a cornerback who can play some snaps on offense rather than a full-time two-way player or wide receiver. However, Hunter can fill two of the Jaguars’ top needs – wide receiver and cornerback.

6) Tennessee Titans (via Raiders) – Tetairoa McMillan (WR – Arizona)

If the Titans don’t love one of the quarterback prospects over Will Levis, fans should expect them to trade back and add to his supporting cast. McMillan is the clear-cut top wide receiver in the NFL Draft class. Pairing him with Calvin Ridley will give Levis, or whoever is under center, two reliable options in the passing game.

7) New York Jets – Mason Graham (DL – Michigan)

While everyone wanted to focus on the Jets’ offense during the regular season, the team’s defense severely regressed. New York has several upcoming free agents on defense, including three of their top defensive tackles. Pairing Graham alongside Quinnen Williams will give opposing offensive lines nightmares.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

San Francisco 49ers receive picks 8, 163. Carolina Panthers receive picks 11, 75.

8) San Francisco 49ers (via Panthers) – Will Johnson (CB – Michigan)

Unfortunately, the 49ers will likely lose top cornerback Charvarius Ward in free agency this offseason. They needed help at cornerback, even if the veteran re-signs with the team. Johnson could be a top-five pick, making it well worth it for San Francisco to trade up for the former Michigan star.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Indianapolis Colts receive picks 9, 91. New Orleans Saints receive picks 14, 45.

9) Indianapolis Colts (via Saints) – Tyler Warren (TE – Penn State)

Last year, the Colts missed the chance to draft Brock Bowers despite half the fantasy football community begging for it to happen. Meanwhile, Mo Alie-Cox and Kylen Granson are upcoming free agents, while Jelani Woods can’t stay healthy. If Indianapolis finally gives Anthony Richardson a difference-maker at tight end after missing out last year.

10) Chicago Bears – Will Campbell (OL – LSU)

No one is giving up on Caleb Williams after one season. However, his rookie year was a failure, partly because of the offensive line. The Bears must improve their unit if Williams is going to reach his ceiling. While Campbell played offensive tackle at LSU, many expect him to move inside in the NFL.

11) Carolina Panthers (via 49ers) – Mykel Williams (EDGE – Georgia)

The Panthers traded Brian Burns to the New York Giants last offseason. While they signed Jadeveon Clowney and others to replace the star edge rusher, Carolina didn’t have a single-player total over 5.5 sacks in 2024. After trading back and adding a third-round pick, the Panthers get a high-upside pass rusher.

12) Dallas Cowboys – Kenneth Grant (DL – Michigan)

Many mock drafts will have the Cowboys drafting Ashton Jeanty with their first-round pick. However, the running back class is deep, and Dallas has several more pressing needs, including on both lines. They gave the fourth-most rushing yards and the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL this season.

13) Miami Dolphins – Malaki Starks (S – Georgia)

Thankfully, Tyreek Hill’s so-called trade request drama is over, meaning Miami doesn’t have to worry about using their first-round pick on his replacement. However, they have several upcoming free agents, especially in the secondary. Three of the team’s four safeties, including both starters, are free agents this spring.

14) New Orleans Saints (via Colts) – Colston Loveland (TE – Michigan)

While the Colts traded up to guarantee themselves one of the two elite tight end prospects, the Saints moved back and had the other land in their lap. New Orleans needs help all over the field, especially in their receiving core. Instead of taking a wide receiver, the Saints finally give Derek Carr a difference-maker at tight end.

15) Atlanta Falcons – James Pearce Jr. (EDGE – Tennessee)

Atlanta has needed a No. 1 edge rusher for years. They added Matt Judon before the start of the season and have invested multiple draft picks on edge rushers. Yet, Arnold Ebiketie (six) was the only Falcon with more than 5.5 sacks in 2024. Pearce is a high-upside edge rusher who could finally give Atlanta what they’ve needed for years.

16) Arizona Cardinals – Nic Scourton (EDGE – Texas A&M)

Last year, the Cardinals used a first-round pick on Darius Robinson. However, they need to make several more additions to their front seven. Arizona has multiple defensive linemen and edge rushers set to hit the open market in March, opening up significant playing time for Scourton as a rookie.

17) Cincinnati Bengals – Luther Burden III (WR – Missouri)

Reportedly, there is some momentum for the Bengals to keep Tee Higgins long-term after he played under the franchise tag in 2024. However, retaining the star wide receiver shouldn’t keep them from adding to Joe Burrow’s receiving core. Jermaine Burton was a massive bust as a rookie, while Andrei Iosivas isn’t a difference-maker.

18) Seattle Seahawks – Tyler Booker (OG – Alabama)

Unfortunately, Seattle’s offensive line was one of the worst in the NFL. The Seahawks need to improve the interior of the line for Geno Smith to regain his 2022 form. Booker is the only non-tackle offensive lineman guaranteed to come off the board in the first round.

19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jalon Walker (LB – Georgia)

The Buccaneers should spend most of their draft capital on defense. Calijah Kancey and Vita Vea form an excellent 1-2 punch up front. However, Lavonte David turns 35 next week and is an upcoming free agent. Walker would be the perfect replacement for the future Hall of Fame linebacker.

20) Denver Broncos – Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State)

Javonte Williams is a free agent this offseason. Meanwhile, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime are solid role players but not starters. Jeanty would finally give Sean Payton the superstar running back for his offense.

21) Pittsburgh Steelers – Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

While Skylar Thompson is the only quarterback on the roster under contract for next year, expect the Steelers to go the veteran route this offseason rather than drafting one early. Meanwhile, George Pickens can be a headache. However, he’s the only wide receiver in Pittsburgh that defenses have to worry about.

22) Los Angeles Chargers – Shemar Stewart (EDGE – Texas A&M)

Earlier this week, Khalil Mack told the media that he will consider retirement this offseason. Furthermore, he is a free agent in March, while Joey Bosa and Bud Dupree are entering the final year of their contracts in 2025. Pairing Stewart with Tuli Tuipulotu will give the Chargers two talented edge rushers for years to come.

23) Green Bay Packers – Jahdae Barron (CB – Texas)

Green Bay’s cornerback unit needs significant help this offseason. Eric Stokes is a free agent, while Jaire Alexander’s inability to stay healthy has become a problem. Barron was one of the top defensive backs in college football last season and provides inside and outside versatility.

24) Minnesota Vikings – Benjamin Morrison (CB – Notre Dame)

The Vikings have several upcoming free agents on defense, especially in the secondary. Minnesota has four cornerbacks set to hit the open market, including starters Byron Murphy Jr. and Stephon Gilmore.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

Baltimore Ravens receive pick 25. Houston Texans receive picks 28, 129, 135.

25) Baltimore Ravens (via Texans) – Josh Simmons (OT – Ohio State)

Ronnie Stanley managed to play in every regular season this year for the first time in his career. However, the veteran is on the wrong side of 30, has injury history, and is an upcoming free agent. Simmons could step in as a rookie if needed.

26) Los Angeles Rams – Quinn Ewers (QB – Texas)

Many will call this pick ridiculous or a reach. However, all it takes is for one team to like Ewers enough to make him a first-round pick. Matthew Stafford is nearing the end of his career. If anyone can turn Ewers into a star, it’s Sean McVay and Stafford, especially with a year of learning from the bench.

27) Washington Commanders – Isaiah Bond (WR – Texas)

While Terry McLaurin had a career year with Jayden Daniels under center, the rookie superstar lacks other options in the passing game. Dyami Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus, and Noah Brown have had decent moments throughout the season. Yet, Bond would give Daniels a dynamic downfield weapon.

28) Houston Texans (via Ravens) – Aireontae Ersery (OT – Minnesota)

Unfortunately, C.J. Stroud regressed after an impressive rookie season. The Texans’ offensive line has been awful all year. Laremy Tunsil is on the wrong side of 30 and committed 19 penalties during the regular season. Ersery could start at right tackle before flipping over to the left side in a few years.

29) Buffalo Bills – Tyleik Williams (DL – Ohio State)

Ed Oliver is an elite interior defensive lineman. However, he needs a long-term running mate, especially one who dominates in the run game. Jordan Phillips, Austin Johnson, and Quinton Jefferson will be free agents in March, allowing Williams to see significant playing time as a rookie.

30) Philadelphia Eagles – Cameron Williams (OL – Texas)

The Eagles have always prioritized their offensive line. They drafted Cam Jurgens a few years ago to start at right guard before moving to center when Jason Kelce retired. Philadelphia could follow a similar game plan with Williams and Lane Johnson. He could replace upcoming free agent Mekhi Becton at right guard before kicking out to tackle when Johnson retires.

31) Kansas City Chiefs – Donovan Jackson (OL – Ohio State)

While the Chiefs have had mixed results with their starting offensive tackles, the interior of the line has been elite. Unfortunately, Trey Smith is a free agent in March and could get too expensive for Kansas City. Even if he returns, the team will likely have to release Joe Thuney for salary cap space.

*** TRADE ALERT ***

New England Patriots receive pick 32. Detroit Lions receive picks 38, 105.

32) New England Patriots (via Lions) – Harold Fannin Jr. (TE – Bowling Green)

New England must use this offseason to build around Drake Maye. After using their top-five pick to protect Maye, the Patriots give the star quarterback another weapon in the passing game. Hunter Henry is solid, while Austin Hooper had an underrated 2024 season. Fannin would start as the No. 2 tight end but could quickly become Maye’s go-to target.
