Welcome back to the latest edition of the Closer Report. As we reach the two-week mark in the season, we’re starting to see a bigger sample size for bullpens with some closers off to great starts to the year and others not so much. It is important to remember that this is still a tiny sample size of the season. While it is important to monitor what we have seen so far, a lot can and will still change as the year continues.
Here is a look at where everything stands two weeks into the season. Check out our updated fantasy baseball closer rankings and see who’s rising and who’s falling in value.

News & Notes
Robert Suarez has taken the lead in the MLB with six saves. He has logged four saves in a row across four appearances in April.
Luke Jackson, Kyle Finnegan and Andres Munoz follow with five saves each.
Emmanuel Clase recorded his first save of the season on Wednesday in an appearance where he may have blown the save if Mike Tauchman didn’t hurt his hamstring rounding third base as the tying runner. It has been a rough start for the league leader in saves last season, but it is too early to have any significant concerns.
Devin Williams has not logged a save since Opening Day. He entered last Wednesday’s game with the Yankees leading 4-0 and allowed three runs before he was removed from the game with two outs.
Jhoan Duran has yet to record his first save, but he has notched four straight scoreless appearances after allowing one run in his first appearance of the season.
David Bednar has thrown two perfect innings since being optioned to Triple-A. He’ll be worth monitoring when he gets called back up.
