Who Are the Best Steaming Options at Kicker in Week 1?
One of the Discord users asked me for my favorite streaming options at kicker. Admittedly, I hadn’t dug into the position for this week, and I didn’t want to slow the chat down to dig into the options haphazardly. Instead, I promised I’d answer their question as the first one in this piece.
To qualify as a streaming option at kicker, they must be on fewer than 50% of Yahoo! rosters. With that criteria in mind, my two favorite streaming options are Cam Little (35% rostered) and Chad Ryland (3% rostered). Gamers might recall Little’s name from the preseason, when he drilled a 70-yard field goal. As a rookie last season, Little nailed 27 of 29 field goal attempts, with a long of 59 yards. He also made all 27 of his point-after-tries (PATs). The Jaguars are 3.5-point favorites at home, and the game’s total is 46.5 points, leaving Jacksonville with an implied total of 25 points. Little should have a mix of field goal and PAT opportunities in Week 1.
Ryland made 28 of 32 field goal attempts and 26 of 27 PATs in 2024, with a longest field goal of 58 yards. The Cardinals have an implied total of 25 points, and Ryland will benefit from kicking indoors at the Caesars Superdome.
What Should Gamers Do with Jayden Reed?
Jayden Reed was in many questions. The inquiries ranged from whether gamers should start him this week to whether they should roster him at all. Unfortunately, it appears Reed is attempting to play through a Jones fracture in his foot. Doctor Jeff Mueller’s list of wideouts who required surgery and those who didn’t for a Jones fracture in the foot was discouraging.
????WRs who required surgery for a Jones fracture:
Marvin Jones, Julio Jones, Sammy Watkins, Deebo Samuel, Van Jefferson, Dez Bryant, James Washington????WRs who were able to play through a Jones fracture without surgery:
…I couldn’t find any.

Gamers can stash him in leagues with deep benches, or those with medium benches and injured reserve (IR) spots. However, Reed isn’t a starting option in Week 1 in anything shallower than a 16-team league, and he’s even a dicey option in 16-team leagues and larger. I’d outright drop Reed in 12-team formats or smaller with medium or shallow-sized benches, as the most likely outcome is probably undergoing surgery after attempting to play through the injury proves unsuccessful.
Should Gamers Prioritize Stashing Quinshon Judkins?
Frankly, I don’t understand why Quinshon Judkins is on so many re-draft rosters. Judkins is the only unsigned player from the 2025 NFL Draft class. It’s unclear when he’ll sign, putting him behind the eight-ball to learn Cleveland’s offense and get up to speed with the club. There’s also the possibility the NFL could suspend Judkins under the Personal Conduct Policy for the misdemeanor battery charge that was dropped against him during the summer.
The uncertainty around Judkins’ timeline to even suit up for a game this year would ding the value of a fantasy football stud, but Judkins is an unproven rookie on a dreadful team. The payoff for wasting a roster spot on Judkins while his situation is sorted out seems minimal, and the opportunity cost of stashing him over someone who could help rosters now or a handcuff who’s only one injury away from being the featured player in a waiver wire article is too great. Gamers should drop Judkins in almost all re-draft formats.
