Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS): 0.5 passing yards
Chalkboard has a promo line up for Jayden Daniels. In order to win this leg of your ticket, Daniels has to pass for just one yard. This promotional line can only be claimed once, and a maximum of $5 may be used for your entry. No analysis of any kind is needed here, as even Tua Tagovailoa can hit that mark in his worst game. Yes, we have all seen that it is indeed possible to start a game and not record a passing yard, but you need to be incredibly unlucky injury-wise for that to happen. Dap the More on Jayden Daniels for Week 1 at Chalkboard.
Pick: More
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB – WAS): 38.5 rushing yards
JCM looked good enough in Week 1 that he should remain the lead back for carries, even when Chris Rodriguez returns. Croskey-Merritt played just 33 percent of the snaps in Week 1, but out-carried Austin Ekeler 10 to six, and the veteran back is now dealing with a shoulder injury that made the Commanders list him as a limited participant in their estimated practice report. Chris Rodriguez appeared to be JCM’s only true competition for carries following the Brian Robinson trade, and he was a healthy scratch in Week 1. JCM could see 15-plus carries in Week 2, despite facing a stronger team. Jab the More on ‘Bill’ for Week 1 at Chalkboard.
Pick: More
Micah Parsons (DE – GB): 0.5 sacks
Micah Parsons started his Green Bay Packers career off strong, notching a sack against Jared Goff. He played just 45 percent of the snaps in Week 1 and should be closer to the 60 percent mark against a Washington Commanders team that just gifted three sacks to the New York Giants. Micah knows Jayden Daniels and the Commanders well from his time in Dallas, generating 4.5 sacks against Jayden in two games. He had at least two sacks in both contests. Now part of a much more ferocious front seven, we expect Parsons to find his way to Daniels at least once. Press the More for Week 2 at Chalkboard.
