Most Added Players

Troy Franklin (WR – DEN)

Troy Franklin showed flashes of big-play ability in Week 1 with two catches for 54 yards and a touchdown. Week 2 was the breakout, leading the team in targets, catches and yards, as well as adding another touchdown. His breakout and chemistry with college quarterback Bo Nix make him this week’s top add.

Daniel Jones (QB – IND)

Daniel Jones impressed in Week 1 with 276 passing yards, one passing touchdown and two rushing scores, totaling over 25 fantasy points. Week 2, though, was a different story, showing this Colts team is for real.

Jones’ 316 yards and a rushing touchdown put him on the path to being this year’s Sam Darnold and a clear top-12 fantasy quarterback. On top of his own play, the addition of injuries to some major stars such as Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels and Justin Fields has led many managers scrambling to fill massive holes at quarterback.

Wan’Dale Robinson (WR – NYG)

While playing second fiddle to Malik Nabers, this offense was booming versus the Cowboys in Week 2, showing that Russell Wilson can again support multiple fantasy studs. Wan’Dale Robinson scarfed up eight catches for 142 yards and a touchdown, bringing him to the forefront of fantasy light.

Juwan Johnson (TE – NO)

Juwan Johnson led all tight ends in Week 1 with eight catches for 76 yards and a league-high target share. This continued into Week 2 with another five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. His volume and red-zone usage make him a top streaming tight end and a strong waiver wire pickup at a position that has been hit with several injuries.

Most Dropped Players

Kaleb Johnson (RB – PIT)

Kaleb Johnson had minimal usage in Week 1 and just one rushing yard in Week 2. His role is limited to special teams, making him a drop candidate in most formats. Add on the terrible misplay on a kickoff leading to a game-changing momentum swing, and Johnson will easily end up in Mike Tomlin’s doghouse for weeks to come.

Colston Loveland (TE – CHI)

Colston Loveland had two catches for 12 yards in Week 1 and limited snaps behind Cole Kmet. Despite rookie hype, his lack of involvement makes him a drop in shallow leagues.

Ollie Gordon (RB – MIA)

Ollie Gordon had just two carries in Week 1 and one yard in Week 2. Despite preseason hype, he remains buried on the depth chart and is a drop candidate.

Most Traded Players

A.J. Brown (WR – PHI)

A.J. Brown had one catch for eight yards in Week 1 and five catches for 27 yards in Week 2. His slow start and run-heavy offense have frustrated managers, leading to polarizing views of him by managers.

Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – JAX)

Brian Thomas Jr. had one catch for 11 yards in Week 1 and four catches for 49 yards in Week 2. Despite high target volume, his poor efficiency and chemistry with Trevor Lawrence have led to trade movement.

Travis Etienne (RB – JAX)

Travis Etienne showed out in Week 1, posting 143 rushing yards and multiple receptions. Week 2, he continued the high usage, with over half of the backfield carries and an additional 71 yards. With Tank Bigsby traded, Etienne’s workload and value have surged, making him a top trade target.

Jordan Mason (RB – SF)

Jordan Mason saw increased touches in Week 2 due to an injury to Aaron Jones in the backfield. His potential for a larger role has made him a speculative trade target.

Nico Collins (WR – HOU)

Nico Collins has been a major disappointment through two weeks as the Texans’ Offense has struggled to find success. However, his breakout potential and WR1 status have made him a popular trade acquisition.

Final Thoughts

Week 2 is in the books, and players are starting to reveal who they truly are. Pre-draft valuations are behind us, and upon the conclusion of Week 3, we should know if our team is a contender or a pretender. Constant vigilance and flexibility are the name of the game. Winning your waiver wire and trade decisions is the path to your success.
