Week 6 Fantasy Football Injury Updates

*Injury glossary key:

  • FP = Full Participant
  • LP = Limited Participant
  • DNP = Did Not Practice

Ja’Marr Chase (WR – CIN)

Ja’Marr Chase’s status is to be determined (TBD). He has an Illness designation, which means he will most likely play without any major dip in production.

Deebo Samuel (WR – WSH)

I lean heavily toward Deebo Samual playing. He missed two practices before Week 5 with the same designation and played without any obvious dip in production — eight catches for 96 yards and one touchdown.

Zay Flowers (WR – BAL)

Data strongly favors Zay Flowers playing. Wide receivers with limited practices due to shoulder injuries typically don’t see a major dip in play.

Kyler Murray (QB – ARI)

Kyler Murray is TBD. He had only one limited practice with the second-string offense, which suggests a decreased likelihood of playing. We will find out on Saturday if Arizona elevates a quarterback to the active roster. Expect a dip in rushing production if he is active

FantasyPros Are They Playing Tool

Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)

The data strongly favors Dalton Kincaid playing. Pass-catchers with oblique issues typically do not see a major dip in production if they can log three limited practice sessions.

Quentin Johnston (WR – LAC)

The data projects a 66.7% chance to play. Receivers tend to see a mild dip (~10%) in target volume, and there is a moderate re-injury risk

Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)

I lean heavily toward Alvin Kamara playing. Lead running backs tend to see a greater split in touches when playing through an ankle injury.

Jauan Jennings (WR – SF)

The data projects a 60% of Jauan Jennings playing. A mild dip in targets is normally projected, but the impact may be minimal due to injuries to pass-catchers.

Colston Loveland (TE – CHI)

The data projects a 66.7% chance to play. Should see no dip in production if Colston Loveland logs as a limited or full practice session on Saturday.

Darnell Mooney (WR – ATL)

Saturday practice status is TBD. Lean sitting from current reports. There is a re-injury risk here.

Mac Jones (QB – SF)

I lean heavily toward Mac Jones playing, with no dip projected. However, there is a concern of a re-aggravation.

Seattle Seahawks Secondary

Three players are doubtful: Devon Witherspoon, Julian Love and Riq Woolen.
