Week 8 is here, so it’s time to build some NFL DFS cash game lineups.
Remember, when playing cash games, you want to target players with a nice combination of floor and ceiling. If there is a “free square” on the board, that is: A significantly underpriced player thrust into a huge bump in usage, then you can play them without thinking about how popular they’ll be among the field.
With that in mind, read on to learn more about my favorite DFS cash game picks for Week 8. We’ll provide pricing from both FanDuel and DraftKings for these picks. I’ll keep it tight, with two picks for each position.

Week 8 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.
Quarterbacks
Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI) vs. NYG | DraftKings: $6,600/FanDuel: $8,800
Jalen Hurts is coming off a huge game versus the Vikings, where he threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns on only 23 pass attempts. I’m betting that the Eagles avenge their Week 6 Thursday Night Football loss to the Giants in the rematch this week. We just saw Bo Nix put up huge numbers against this defense. Don’t be surprised if Hurts does as well.
Bo Nix (QB – DEN) vs. DAL | DraftKings: $6,000/FanDuel: $7,800
Speaking of Bo Nix, the Broncos’ second-year quarterback and Week 7 overall QB1 looks like a great play at home in a projected shootout against a vulnerable Cowboys defense. Dallas has been giving up elite production to quarterbacks all year long. The Broncos have a 27-point implied total, which ranks as the fourth-highest on the Week 8 slate.
Running Backs
Bijan Robinson is having a phenomenal year, currently averaging 21.7 half-PPR points per game, which ranks as the RB3 on the season. Up next is a terrific matchup against the Dolphins, who have been gashed on the ground all year, most recently allowing three touchdowns to Quinshon Judkins. The sky is the limit for Robinson in this one.
It looks like Lamar Jackson is going to return this week, which means we have to fire up Derrick Henry because we’re getting a discount on him, since he’s priced as if Jackson were out this week. The Ravens have the third-highest implied total on the slate, so you’re going to want to get a piece of their offense in this spot. With that in mind, Henry looks like the best play of the bunch.
Wide Receivers
Courtland Sutton should be able to provide a big game against a Cowboys defense ranked 32nd in fantasy points per game allowed to opposing wideouts. We’ve seen Sutton put up 80+ receiving yards in four of his last five games, topping out at 118. We may see another spike week from Sutton in this one. Something like 100+ yards and a score is easily attainable.
DeVonta Smith is coming off a monster game against the Vikings, where he caught nine of his 11 targets for 183 yards and a touchdown. One of the most underrated wideouts in football, Smith has now cleared 100 yards in two of his last three games. With A.J. Brown out, perhaps Smith gets more looks than usual here.
Tight Ends
George Kittle returned to action last week, but he went catch-less in a run-heavy game plan. This could be the spot where the 49ers try to get him more involved. As they say, “the squeaky wheel gets the grease,” so there’s a chance Kittle sees an uptick in targets following last week’s dud.
Colston Loveland could be poised for a breakout game with Cole Kmet out. There’s a chance this game turns into a shootout, as highlighted by the 49.5-point total. There’s a reason why Loveland went so high in the draft, so it’s not a bad idea to take a shot on him for salary relief.
