Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups & Stashes: WRs & TEs

With Week 9 behind us, it’s time to look ahead to Week 10 and what players we should look to pick up at the wide receiver and tight end positions off the waiver wire.

In Week 10, the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans are on bye. See below for my top pickups and stashes ahead of Week 10.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets & Stashes

All players listed below are rostered in 39% or fewer of Yahoo! leagues.

WR Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes

Parker Washington (WR – JAX) | 18% Rostered

Parker Washington caught eight passes for 90 yards on nine targets in the Jaguars’ overtime win against the Raiders in Week 9.

This season, Washington boasts a mere 15.4% team target share, but with wide receiver Travis Hunter on injured reserve (IR) and fellow wide receiver Dyami Brown leaving Week 9 with a concussion, he should be in store for a lot of action. When those two players aren’t on the field, Washington’s target share is over 22%.

Elic Ayomanor (WR – TEN) | 26% Rostered

The Titans are heading into a bye, but Elic Ayomanor is still worth picking up in deeper leagues. He led his team in target share at 19.3% and has had multiple catches each game this season.

Christian Watson (WR – GB) | 29% Rostered

Christian Watson caught two passes for 58 yards on four targets in the Packers ‘ home loss to the Panthers.

Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden left the game early with an injury, and tight end Tucker Kraft suffered what’s believed to be a torn ACL.

Watson should be in line for more targets, and he’s a great downfield threat, so long as he can stay healthy.

Alec Pierce (WR – IND) | 26% Rostered

The Colts haven’t found themselves trailing much this season, but in Week 9, they suffered a loss to the Steelers on the road.

In the loss and playing from behind, Alec Pierce caught six passes for 115 yards on 13 targets. This season, when the Colts are trailing by seven points or fewer, Pierce has a team target share of 21.2%, which ranks second. He’s worth an add to your bench.

Calvin Austin (WR – PIT) | 11% Rostered

After missing two games, Calvin Austin has seen six targets in back-to-back games. In Week 9’s win over the Colts, he caught five passes for 56 yards. He’s a solid PPR depth piece.

TE Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes

Colston Loveland (TE – CHI)| 23% Rostered

With Cole Kmet suffering a concussion and Colston Loveland going off for six catches, 118 yards and two touchdowns, Loveland is arguably the No. 1 pickup of the week.

Dalton Schultz (TE – HOU) | 27% Rostered

Dalton Schultz caught six passes for 77 yards in a loss to the Broncos. He’s second on the team in target share at 17.9%, and is worth an add in PPR leagues.

Luke Musgrave (TE- GB) | 0% Rostereda

With Tucker Kraft likely out for the season with a torn ACL, Luke Musgrave is the next tight end up. It remains to be seen what his usage will actually be, but with Kraft down, picking up the next tight end is worth it.

Noah Fant (TE – CIN) | 4% Rostered

Over his last four games with Joe Flacco under center, Noah Fant has caught two touchdowns and had two double-digit point games in PPR leagues.

Fant is a solid touchdown-dependent tight end option to utilize in bye weeks, especially with how bad this Bengals defense is and the Bengals needing to throw a lot.

Greg Dulcich (TE – MIA) | 0% Rostered

In his first game on the Dolphins’ active roster, Greg Dulcich caught all five of his targets for 49 yards. He finished the game with a 13.5% target share, which was third on the team.

Dulcich is worthy of a deep league addition, especially with Darren Waller out for the foreseeable future.
