Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Week 16
David Njoku (TE – CLE)
David Njoku (knee) has been ruled out for Week 16.
David Njoku is out for another week due to a knee injury. You can fire up Harold Fannin Jr. with confidence once again. The rookie has been on quite a roll lately.
While the Bills rank ninth in fantasy points per game allowed to tight ends, Fannin has become a focal point of the Browns’ passing game.
Tetairoa McMillan (WR – CAR)
Tetairoa McMillan (foot/ankle) is good to go for Week 16.
Tetairoa McMillan is good to go for Week 16, which is good news for Bryce Young and company.
However, McMillan has recorded fewer than 50 receiving yards in three consecutive games. There’s a chance he’s at less than 100% right now, so proceed with caution here.
Tee Higgins (WR – CIN)
Tee Higgins (concussion) is questionable for Week 16.
Tee Higgins is getting closer to a return from a concussion, listed as questionable for Week 16 against the Dolphins.
With the Bengals eliminated from the playoffs, they don’t have any incentive to play Higgins before he’s ready. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him ruled out for another week.
Woody Marks (RB – HOU)
Woody Marks (ankle) had a limited practice session on Friday.
It’s encouraging to see Woody Marks return to a limited practice on Friday. This makes me hopeful he can return to action in a smash spot against the Raiders.
However, with Nick Chubb returning to action, and Marks seemingly leaving every game early while getting banged up, you have to be a bit concerned here. I would temper expectations.
Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)
Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) has been ruled out for Week 16.
With Devin Neal placed on injured reserve (IR) and Alvin Kamara out, expect Audric Estime to lead a committee backfield with Evan Hull. Estime is my preferred choice of the duo, as he’s a better bet to find the end zone.
Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL)
Lamar Jackson (illness) practiced in full on Thursday.
It will be all systems go for Lamar Jackson in a must-win game against the Patriots this week.
Jackson has been disappointing since returning from injury, but perhaps he can get back on track in what could be a shootout against Drake Maye and company.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. (RB – WSH)
Chris Rodriguez Jr. (groin) is good to go for Sunday.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. is ready to return to action after missing a terrific matchup versus the Giants in Week 15.
Despite Jacory Croskey-Merritt‘s success in that game, Rodriguez is the better bet to lead the committee backfield, since that’s what was happening before the injury.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – ARI)
Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) recorded a imited practice session on Thursday.
Marvin Harrison Jr. got in a limited practice on Thursday. It looks like he’s going to return for the Week 16 matchup against the Falcons.
That makes it a tricky situation. Michael Wilson has been incredible in Harrison’s absence. However, when Harrison made his return for one game, he out-produced Wilson. It’s going to be tough to decide who to start here.
