Everyone loves an Ask Me Anything (AMA), especially the fantasy football community. You can put me at the top of the list of those who love fantasy football AMA. Answering questions for a specific individual fantasy player is so much fun. Not only am I helping that fantasy player improve their team, but it also challenges me to think outside the general box of who is higher in my rankings or who to start this week.
FantasyPros does an excellent job with their Discord AMAs, giving members a chance to have their questions answered by professionals. Please join my Discord channel and reach out to me anytime with any fantasy football questions.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into some of the questions and answers from my Week 16 Discord AMA.
Lineup Questions
Should I start Tyler Warren this week or add Colby Parkinson off waivers?
Unfortunately, Warren struggled despite an outstanding matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, totaling three receptions on six targets for 19 receiving yards and 4.9 PPR fantasy points. I’m not ready to drop him, as I hope the rookie can build chemistry with Philip Rivers ahead of the Week 17 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, I would add Parkinson off the waiver wire and start him on Thursday night against the Seahawks, especially if Davante Adams can’t play.
Would you start Justin Jefferson or Jauan Jennings this week?
Jefferson only scored 4.2 PPR fantasy points on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. While he had a receiving touchdown negated by a penalty, the superstar only caught two of his eight targets for 22 receiving yards. Unfortunately, fantasy players shouldn’t consider him more than a boom-or-bust flex option over the final two weeks. Therefore, I’m starting Jennings in Week 17. Last week, the veteran had 18.7 fantasy points, totaling 13.9 or more in five of the past six games.
Are you starting Jacoby Brissett over Trevor Lawrence this week, even after his Week 15 performance?
Last week, Lawrence was unbelievable against the New York Jets, totaling 330 passing yards, five touchdowns, 51 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 44.3 fantasy points. However, he goes from an excellent matchup on Sunday to facing the Denver Broncos in Week 16. Therefore, I’m starting Brissett on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran has been outstanding since taking over as the starter, averaging two passing touchdowns per game. Last week, Brissett had a season-high three passing touchdowns against the Houston Texans.
Waiver Wire Questions
Who is your top streaming quarterback option for Week 16?
Ideally, fantasy players can land Jacoby Brissett off the waiver wire this week. However, J.J. McCarthy is an outstanding backup option. He has been on fire lately, averaging 206.5 passing yards, 2.5 touchdowns, and 22 fantasy points per game over the past two weeks. Furthermore, the former Michigan star faces a New York Giants defense that has surrendered 238.7 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 22.5 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over the past 10 weeks.
Which tight end off the waiver wire is your top target for this week?
Colby Parkinson has averaged 3.7 receptions on 4.7 targets for 38.3 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 13.5 PPR fantasy points per game over the past six weeks, totaling 12.2 or more in three of the past four contests. Last week, he had five receptions on seven targets for 75 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 24.5 fantasy points, setting season-highs in every category. Parkinson has top-five upside this week against the Seattle Seahawks, especially if Davante Adams can’t play because of a hamstring injury.
Dynasty Questions
What are your early thoughts on the 2026 dynasty rookie draft class?
The 2026 rookie class lacks the firepower that the 2024 class had and the 2027 class should have. However, Jeremiyah Love is an elite prospect and on par with Ashton Jeanty from last year. Unfortunately, the class lacks significant upside after the Notre Dame star. Jordyn Tyson, Fernando Mendoza, Makai Lemon, and Carnell Tate are appealing prospects. Yet, fantasy players should try to offload their non 1.01 2026 rookie picks for selections in 2027, especially in superflex leagues.
