4 Dynasty Veterans to Trade Away (2026 Fantasy Football)

Managing a successful dynasty fantasy football roster requires mitigating risk, and the offseason is the highest-risk period for veteran players. Unless you’re getting a blatant value win, my advice is simple: Avoid trading for veterans until the season gets closer. Instead, pivot to future rookie picks, which are the most liquid, appreciating assets in dynasty. Veterans carry the baggage of potential injury, contract disputes or sudden depth chart competition that picks simply don’t have.

Today, I’m looking at four veterans whose market value has peaked. Using consensus dynasty market rankings from KeepTradeCut, I’ll explain why these players are “sell-now” candidates and provide a few trade ideas to help you get the best possible return. As always, my trade recommendations are based on Superflex, PPR and TE-Premium settings.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Veterans to Trade Away

Jonathan Taylor (RB – IND)

Jonathan Taylor is coming off his best season since 2021, finishing as the RB4 in PPR points per game. However, he averaged fewer than 13 PPR points per game from Weeks 14-18, after Daniel Jones went down with an Achilles injury. With Taylor now in his seventh and age-27 season, I’m not confident he can repeat his 2025 production, especially considering we don’t know what version of Jones we’ll get post-injury.

Even with Taylor posting career-bests in receptions and yards this past season, he only added 5.6 PPR points per game as a receiver. Fantasy owners have to rely heavily on rushing production, which could lead to a swift decline in fantasy versus players like Alvin Kamara or Christian McCaffrey, whose receiving production kept them fantasy-relevant.

Taylor is currently valued as the RB6 on KeepTradeCut, listed as a top-30 overall Superflex asset. This is a bit too rich, and I would be looking to move on before his value inevitably drops in 2026. He would need to replicate his 2025 numbers just to hold his current value, which is unlikely.

Trade Suggestions

  • Jonathan Taylor for a 2026 first-round pick (1.02 or 1.03)
  • Jonathan Taylor for Kenneth Walker + an early 2026 second-round pick
  • Jonathan Taylor for Breece Hall + a late 2026 second-round pick

      George Kittle (TE – SF)

I didn’t go into this article expecting to list George Kittle as a player to sell, but after seeing his TE10 overall ranking on KeepTradeCut, I had no choice but to include him.

Let’s just break down some simple numbers here. Kittle suffered an Achilles tear in the 49ers’ Wild Card win over the Eagles on January 11th. Recovery time for this type of injury is 9-12 months. Best-case scenario, Kittle could be ready for the start of the season, but would have missed all of training camp and preseason, so he’d have to slowly be ramped up to a full workload. If everything goes perfectly well, he may be back to his full-time role about a month into the season.

The more realistic timeline is that this recovery will take a bit longer for a tight end entering his 10th and age-33 season. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kittle isn’t back until Thanksgiving. When he does return, there’s a real chance he comes back a shell of his former self.

There have been some recent positive reports on expected recovery time, which you could use to your advantage to shop Kittle around. There may be some Kittle “truthers” out there who feel they will be buying an elite producer for pennies on the dollar.

      Trade Suggestions

      • George Kittle for a 2026 or 2027 second-round pick
      • George Kittle for Brenton Strange
      • George Kittle for AJ Barner + a late-round pick

          Blake Corum (RB – LAR)

The Blake Corum hype train has been building up steam since early in the 2025 season, and it’s now gotten to the point where he’s wildly overvalued by the market. Corum has seen his dynasty value inflate to RB26 overall on KeepTradeCut, marking a clear sell-high window.

Kyren Williams recently signed a three-year extension with the Rams, keeping him in L.A. through 2027, at a minimum. This keeps Corum relegated to his handcuff role for the foreseeable future. Sure, he saw more volume in 2025, but not enough to where a contending team would feel confident starting him. Corum failed to see 15 rush attempts in any game this past season.

Williams is no world beater, but Corum isn’t either. Out of 49 running backs with 100+ rush attempts this past season, Corum finished 44th in yards after contact per attempt (2.56). He simply hasn’t shown enough to jump Williams on the depth chart, and his only real path to workhorse production is a Williams injury.

              Michael Wilson (WR – ARI)

There’s no doubt Michael Wilson had a dominant end to the 2025 NFL season. From Weeks 11-18, Wilson was the WR2 in PPR points per game (21.1), behind only Puka Nacua. However, we knew this was due in large part to the injuries Marvin Harrison Jr. was working through and the negative game scripts the Cardinals were in.

Weeks 1-10 were an entirely different story, with Wilson finishing that span as the WR88 in PPR points per game. I think we’ll ultimately see a happy medium in terms of production for Wilson, with him averaging somewhere around 11-14 points per game in 2026.

Wilson is an every-down player, but he’s still the third receiving option on his own team, after Trey McBride and Harrison. On KeepTradeCut, Wilson is valued as the WR30 overall, which is significantly higher than my WR46 ranking.
