While the 2026 NFL regular season is still several months away, now is the time to start preparing for redraft leagues. Many factors go into winning fantasy football leagues every year. However, the top factor is drafting players at a value.

Best Fantasy Football Draft Values on RTSports
Let’s look at six of my favorite draft values based on RTSports’ average draft position (ADP).
Patrick Mahomes (QB – KC) | ADP: 121.22 (QB15)
Despite suffering a significant knee injury at the end of last season, Patrick Mahomes has participated in offseason workouts, putting him on pace to play in Week 1.
Last year, the superstar was quietly one of the top quarterbacks in fantasy football despite never having a healthy receiving corps. Mahomes was the fantasy QB2 over the first 13 weeks, averaging 21.1 fantasy points per game, totaling 23.1+ points in eight out of 12 contests. While Mahomes might get off to a slow start, expect him to have another top-10 finish in 2026.
Derrick Henry (RB – BAL) | ADP: 23.38 (RB13)
While some won’t draft Derrick Henry for fear his age makes him an injury risk, the veteran has played in at least 15 games in all but one season of his career, including 17 contests in three consecutive seasons.
Henry was the fantasy RB8 last season, averaging 16.4 PPR fantasy points per game despite totaling only 15 receptions, 18 fewer than any other top-20 back. More importantly, Henry has recorded at least 1,150 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in four consecutive seasons, finishing as a top-eight running back every year.
D’Andre Swift (RB – CHI) | ADP: 50.75 (RB26)
Some will claim that Kyle Monangai will replace D’Andre Swift as the Bears’ starting running back this season. However, there is nothing to suggest that will happen.
Swift was the fantasy RB15 last season, averaging 14.3 PPR fantasy points per game, a higher average than Bucky Irving (13.8) and Kenneth Walker III (11.3).
More importantly, Swift averaged more rushing attempts (13.9 vs. 9.9) and yards per game (67.9 vs. 46.1) than Monangai. Furthermore, Swift had a higher fantasy points per touch average (0.89 vs. 0.79) than the former seventh-round pick.
DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI) | ADP: 41.75 (WR15)
The worst-kept secret in the NFL was the pending A.J. Brown trade. DeVonta Smith has taken over as the Eagles’ No. 1 wide receiver with Brown in New England. Last season, he finished as the WR20, averaging 11.9 PPR fantasy points per game.
However, Smith was outstanding when targeted heavily, averaging 19.3 fantasy points per game in the seven contests where he had seven or more targets, scoring 20+ points in nearly a third of those outings. Smith will have a career year as Jalen Hurts‘ top wide receiver.
KC Concepcion (WR – CLE) | ADP: 12.84 (WR49)
Cleveland made massive changes to their wide receiver room this offseason, using two of their first three draft picks on KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. While the latter has gotten the headlines lately, Concepcion remains my favorite Browns wide receiver for 2026.
Head coach Todd Monken spent the past three years coaching Zay Flowers in Baltimore and should see similarities with Concepcion. Last season, the former Texas A&M star had the fifth-highest yards after the catch average (7.2) among wide receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft class with at least 75 targets.
Tucker Kraft (TE – GB) | ADP: 89.32 (TE9)
Unfortunately, Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL last season. However, he expects to play in Week 1 without limitations. Last season, Kraft was the fantasy TE1 in points per game over the first eight weeks, averaging 16.2 PPR fantasy points per contest, the same average as Trey McBride.
Yet, Kraft is the TE9 in fantasy football ADP, while McBride is the TE1. Meanwhile, the Packers moved on from Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks this offseason without adding any meaningful additions. Kraft is my sleeper pick to finish as the overall fantasy TE1.
