Mark Trumbo was scratched from the lineup ahead of Monday's game against the Tigers with a strained left trapezius, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports. (Roch Kubatko on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
There has been no news on how serious the injury is but do not be surprised if Trumbo is shut down for the season. The slugger is 5-for-19 (.263) since joining the Orioles on September 2 following a lengthy recovery from offseason knee surgery.
