Austin Slater drove a liner down the left field line to clear the bases in the second inning off Sean Manaea on Monday night. He followed up with an inside out shot to right center to knock in two more runs before finishing the night 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs.
Fantasy Impact:
The Giants are projected to face three left-handed starting pitchers during their opening series in Los Angeles this weekend, which will present solid opportunities for Slater to continue to prove himself. Keep an eye on him early this season as he might be a nice fantasy option against left-handers.
