Maicer Izturis exits game with groin strain

Maicer Izturis was forced to leave the game Friday against the Rays with a right groin strain. He will be re-evaluated later today or Saturday. (Barry Davis on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 34-year-old infielder was projected to break camp as the Blue Jays second baseman, however if Izturis is forced to miss any time when the Jays open in New York, Devon Travis or Ryan Goins could be next in line to replace him.
