Maicer Izturis will start season on the DL

Fantasy Impact:
From a fantasy perspective the news of Izturis to the DL isn't going to send owners in a panic to the waiver wire in search of a replacement, however it does open the possibility of Devon Travis heading north with the team. Travis is currently competing with Ryan Goins and Steve Tolleson for the job. If Travis opens the season as the Jays second baseman, he becomes an interesting sleeper in 12-team mixed leagues for his double digit power/speed potential and ability to hit for average.
