Tommy Edman was 1-for-3 with a walk in Monday's loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
The hit extended his hit streak to nine games, going 10-for-32 (.313) over that stretch. The Cardinals will need him and others to keep producing as they are in a dogfight for a playoff spot. The remaining schedule is somewhat soft, consisting of teams below .500, but Edman and the Cardinals go up against Royals prospect Brady Singer on Tuesday who has been sharp of late, going 14 innings, giving up just three hits and three walks while striking out sixteen.
