Chicago Cubs reliever Pedro Strop is being held away from the team fro violating COVID-19 protocols, per Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. (Jordan Bastian on Twitter)

Strop was tagged in a recently deleted social media post by Indians DH Franmil Reyes, who is also being held away from his team for the same reason. Strop will now have to clear some "protocol hurdles" before he is allowed to rejoin the team. He will likely be away from the team for a few days and will compete for a roster spot in the Cubs' bullpen once he rejoins them at camp.
