Jonathan Lucroy brought up from Triple-A to replace Gomes

The Nationals purchased the contract of Jonathan Lucroy from Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday as part of a flurry of moves in response to their COVID-19 protocols. In a corresponding move, catcher Yan Gomes was placed on the injured list.
Fantasy Impact:
The 34-year-old veteran backstop had only recently signed a minor league deal with the Nationals and now will join the team in the early part of the season. He's in the starting lineup and batting eighth on Tuesday against Atlanta.
