Sergio Romo earned the hold Monday against the Angels, allowing one hit while recording the final out of the seventh inning.

Romo entered the game for Burch Smith, who allowed four runs in the frame. He allowed one single that scored a run which was charged to Smith before recording a strikeout to escape the inning otherwise unscathed.
