Fantasy Impact:
After suffering a hamstring strain early on during his tenure with the Padres, manager Jayce Tingler seems hopeful that Arrieta should be available for this weekend's series with the Astros. The Padres will need all the reinforcements they can get in the midst of a race for the second wild card spot, and hopefully Arrieta is able to be that spark. Arrieta is sporting an 7.13 ERA and a WHIP of 1.78 in 2021.
