Michael Conforto (shoulder) yet to resume throwing

According to a report from the New York Post's Mike Puma, free agent outfielder Michael Conforto has yet to resume throwing as he continues his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury. Puma also mentions that surgery was on the table for Conforto but that the veteran outfielder opted to let the shoulder heal. (Mike Puma, New York Post)

Fantasy Impact:

We haven't received many updates on Conforto over the last few weeks, and this appears to be why. At this point, it's possible that Conforto doesn't sign with a team until after the MLB Amateur Draft in July, when draft pick compensation would no longer apply. Conforto batted just .232 with 14 home runs in 125 games in 2021, and he declined a qualifying offer from the Mets this offseason.
