Detroit Tigers right-hander Alex Faedo allowed one run over five innings in a 3-1 win over the Pirates on Wednesday.

Faedo struck out seven and walked one with his only mistake a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the fourth inning. Faedo has been solid through seven starts for the Tigers, posting a 1-2 record, 2.92 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts over 37 innings of work. He will be on the streamer radar for his next start which will be on Monday against the White Sox.
