Willie Calhoun traded to Giants

The San Francisco Giants have acquired OF Willie Calhoun from the Texas Rangers in exchange for OF Steven Duggar. (Evan Grant on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 27-year-old is originally from Vallejo, California, and has not played in the majors since April 29. Calhoun has played for the Rangers his entire career, slashing .241/.407/.707 with 32 home runs and 103 RBI. Fantasy managers who just lost OF Luis Gonzalez to injury should keep an eye on how the Giants deploy Calhoun, though be ready to absorb his horrible batting average if you pick him up.
