Yusei Kikuchi suffers loss on Tuesday
by Devon Bruce | Angels Correspondent | Wed, Jul 6th 10:40am EDT
Yusei Kikuchi pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on two hits and five walks during Toronto's loss to Oakland on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Kikuchi looked to be righting the ship after a strong start the last time out, but had terrible control on Tuesday, walking a season high five batters, and allowing four earned runs against. He didn't log a single strikeout for the first time this season and was mercifully pulled after 2 1/3 innings pitched. He simply can't be trusted in fantasy going forward as he's produced a 3-5 record with 5.12 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 74:41 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He'll next take the mound in a matchup against the Mariners on Sunday.
