Julio Urias pitches six innings in Dodgers extra innings shutout of Padres

by Josh Thiessen | Thu, Sep 29th 10:40am EDT

Julio Urias pitched six innings on Wednesday night, striking out five, walking two, and giving up six hits for zero earned runs as he took the no-decision in the Dodgers' 1-0 win over the Padres.

Fantasy Impact:

Urias was unable to pick up the win on Wednesday but it was more due to a lack of offense than to his pitching ability. The Dodgers' pitcher has pitched to the tune of an dominate 2.17 ERA, which is paired with his WHIP of 0.96, both numbers which rank in the top 10 in the league. The 26-year-old is looking fantastic at the right time as the Dodgers near the playoffs as the destined 1 seed, Urias will get one more warm-up start prior to playoffs and it will come against the Rockies on October 3rd.
