Andres Munoz earned the save on Thursday against the Guardians, allowing two hits across one scoreless inning.
Fantasy Impact:
Munoz entered the 9th inning with the Mariners leading 3-0. After two quick outs, he allowed back-to-back hits to bring the tying runner to the plate but got Josh Bell to groundout to end the game. Munoz followed Paul Sewald and Matt Brash after Luis Castillo tossed six scoreless innings. Munoz was one of the popular breakout relief pitchers all offseason, so this was a good start for fantasy managers who drafted him.
