Kerry Carpenter went 3-for-5 at the plate for the Tigers in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday, singling, doubling, and belting a walk-off solo home run in a 4-3 win over the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Carpenter has found his power stroke of late at the plate for the Tigers, homering in three of his last five games for the club. The 25-year-old has always flashed immense power but struggles with consistency at the plate for fantasy managers, batting .238 with six runs scored, three home runs, and five runs batted in to go along with an .867 OPS so far this season.
