Patrick Sandoval allows one run Tuesday against Cardinals

by Chris Schommer | Red Sox Correspondent | Wed, May 3rd 8:09am EDT

Patrick Sandoval was steady on the mound for the Angels Tuesday night, allowing one run on three hits while also walking three and striking out four over five innings in a 5-1 win over the Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

Sandoval has been mostly reliable on the mound to begin the season for the Angels, allowing three runs or less in five of six starts to begin the season. The left-hander will need to improve on minimizing free passes to opposing batters moving forward, carrying a 1.60 K/BB ratio to go along with a 1.27 WHIP and 2.93 ERA in six starts (3-1) on the mound so far this season.
