The Blue Jays placed Santiago Espinal on the 10-day injured list on Monday with right hamstring inflammation. (Toronto Blue Jays on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Toronto had hoped Espinal could avoid a trip to the IL after he suffered the injury over the weekend, but he will miss some time. The Blue Jays recalled Otto Lopez from Triple-A Buffalo as the corresponding move.
