Jameson Taillon had a rough outing on Sunday, surrendering eight earned runs on eight hits and two walks over just three innings of work, resulting in a loss for the Cubs.

Taillon struggled to find his rhythm, striking out only two batters while throwing 89 pitches. This poor performance raised his season ERA to 5.71 and his WHIP to 1.38. Despite his struggles, Taillon has managed to accumulate seven wins in his 21 starts this season.
