The Miami Marlins have placed outfielder/designated hitter Jorge Soler on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain. (Jordan McPherson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Soler returned on Tuesday from a week-long absence due to a hip issue and went 0-for-2 with a pair of walks and a run scored on the night. However, he will be out for at least the next 10 days on the same day the club placed starter Sandy Alcantara on the 15-day injured list with a right forearm flexor strain. In other moves, Geoff Hartlieb has been designated for assignment, while outfielder Dane Meyers, pitcher Edward Cabrera, and pitcher Devin Smeltzer have all been promoted from Triple-A.
