Luis Severino placed on IL

Luis Severino has been placed on the 15-day IL due to a left upper-body injury. (Yankees PR Dept. on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Further test results are still pending, but the Yankees clearly see this injury as severe enough to put Severino on the IL. With the Yankees far away from a playoff spot, it's very possible that Severino will not return this season. We'll know more after additional testing, but his 2023 season may end with a 6.65 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 89.1 innings pitched.
