Trevor Hauver delivers two-run double in loss
by Bruno Mulé | Rangers Correspondent | Fri, Feb 21st 5:30pm EST
Trevor Hauver made the most of his lone plate appearance Friday, lacing a game-tying two-run double off Austin Cox in the eighth inning of the Rangers’ 5-2 Cactus League loss to the Royals. That would be the only offensive production for Texas in the contest. The 26-year-old infielder, a former third-round pick by the Yankees in 2020, slashed .247/.360/.425 with 11 home runs and 60 RBI in Triple-A Round Rock last season.
Fantasy Impact:
Hauver has yet to make his MLB debut but could push for a big-league opportunity in 2025 if he continues to perform well. His ability to get on base gives him some intrigue in deeper dynasty leagues, though he’ll need a strong spring to force his way onto the Rangers’ radar for a roster spot.
