The Red Sox signed right-hander José De León to a minor league contract, as he shared via Instagram, per team reports.

De León, 32, hasn’t thrown in the majors since 2023, when he made a career-high 12 outings for the Twins before Tommy John surgery sidelined him—now he’s a low-risk depth piece for Boston. Fantasy managers can pass; his recovery’s still untested, and he’s buried in the org chart for 2025.
