by Bruno Mulé | Nationals Correspondent | Fri, May 23rd 10:52am EDT
Trevor Williams' Thursday start against the Braves unraveled early, with back-to-back solo home runs from Matt Olson and Marcell Ozuna in the opening frame contributing to a difficult outing. He was charged with five runs on four hits before his departure after 3.2 innings. The 33-year-old hurler also issued three walks and recorded three strikeouts, throwing 82 pitches (24% CSW, seven swinging strikes) and receiving a no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Looking ahead, Williams is scheduled to face the Mariners in Seattle next Wednesday. He will carry a 6.39 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP into that contest. Over 49.1 innings pitched this season, his K:BB ratio stands at 41:15.
