Fantasy Impact:

Lopez underwent an MRI on Tuesday, which revealed a severe strain expected to keep him sidelined until at least early August. While no official announcement has been made regarding his replacement in the starting rotation, David Festa is the most likely candidate, as he was scratched from his Triple-A St. Paul start on Wednesday. Festa has posted impressive numbers in the minors this season, with a 2.83 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across six starts.
