Miles Mikolas (4-4) delivered a quality start for the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday but was tagged with the loss in Milwaukee. He pitched six innings, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven. Both runs came in the fourth inning via a solo home run from Christian Yelich and a sacrifice fly by Drew Avans.
Fantasy Impact:
Sunday's performance, his fifth quality start of the year, was a notable turnaround for Mikolas, who had allowed a combined 13 earned runs over his previous three starts (15 innings). The 36-year-old now has a 4.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 45:18 K:BB ratio across 72.1 total frames. His next outing is projected at home against the Reds next weekend.
