Ranked as the franchise's No. 10 prospect (MLB com), Schlitter will join a beat-up Yankees rotation in need of a boost. The towering right has been excellent working between Double-A and Triple-A so far this year, posting a 2.82 ERA and striking out 99 batters across 76 2/3 innings. Schlitter will face the Mariners at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday evening.
