Braves third baseman Austin Riley felt pain in his strained abdominal muscle when running on the bases Sunday, according to manager Brian Snitker. (David O'Brien on Twitter)

Riley has been out since Aug. 2, and it appears the slugger isn't on the cusp of a return. The 28-year-old has hit .260 with 16 home runs and a .737 OPS across 102 games this season.
