Jesse Winker will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A St. Lucie on Wednesday. (St. Lucie Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Winker will bat second and serve as the designated hitter in his first rehab game. Given the numerous injuries he has dealt with this season, the Mets may choose to have him spend extended time in the minors to get comfortable with game action before he is activated.
