The Milwaukee Brewers placed Jose Quintana on the 15-day injured list on Wednesday with a left calf strain, retroactive to September 15. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Despite being hopeful that Quintana could avoid the injured list by pushing back his next start, the Brewers determined he needed additional recovery time after he tested his leg by running on Wednesday. In a corresponding move, Nick Mears (back) was activated from the injured list.
