Justin Turner wants to continue playing career

Justin Turner intends to keep his playing career going in 2026, according to his agent Greg Genske, per Jon Morosi of MLB Network. Turner, who spent the 2025 season with the Cubs, batted .219/.288/.314 with three home runs over 80 games. The veteran infielder turns 41 later this month but remained productive against left-handed pitching with a .759 OPS. (Jon Morosi)
Fantasy Impact:
Turner’s declining numbers and age limit his fantasy appeal, but he could draw interest as a platoon option or clubhouse veteran. If he lands a part-time role with regular at-bats against southpaws, he may hold minimal value in deep or NL-only leagues. Otherwise, he’s unlikely to be a fantasy factor in 2026.
