Pete Alonso agrees to five-year deal with Orioles

Pete Alonso has agreed to a five-year, $155 million contract with the Baltimore Orioles according to Jeff Passan. (Jeff Passan on Twitter )

Alonso’s deal includes no opt-out clauses and will boost a Baltimore lineup looking for more production this upcoming season, filling a gaping hole at first base for the club. The slugger finished the 2025 season batting .272 with 38 home runs and 125 RBI for the New York Mets. Alonso will fortify a Baltimore middle of the order in need of more power in 2026.
