Ryne Nelson goes seven solid innings in no-decision Wednesday

Ryne Nelson allowed three runs on four hits, did not issue a walk, and struck out eight over seven solid innings on Wednesday. However, the Diamondbacks suffered a 6-5 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Nelson retired 12 of the first 13 batters he faced, but then ran into an issue in the fifth. A leadoff single, a strikeout, and a hit batter led to a Jake Burger three-run homer which proved to be Nelson's only mistake of the night. He retired eight of the last nine hitters before exiting after seven innings, during which he struck out a season-high eight batters. After allowing 14 earned runs in 5.1 innings over his last two starts in April, Nelson has gotten back on track and has a 2.33 ERA in three starts this month. He will take a 1-3 record with a 5.40 ERA into his next start against San Francisco on Tuesday.
