Fantasy Impact:

Mayza, an eight-year veteran in the majors, has put together a quiet, yet solid career as a middle reliever. Drafted out of Division II Millersville in 2013, Mayza has pitched with the Blue Jays, Yankees, Pirates, and Phillies and has a 20-9 overall record with a 3.89 ERA in 382 career appearances. His best season came in 2023 with Toronto when he pitched 69 games and posted a 1.52 ERA in 53.1 innings. The Allentown, Pennsylvania native pitched with both Pennsylvania teams last season and had a 3.78 ERA in 15 games. There are some openings in the Phillies' bullpen and, with a good spring, Mayza could claim one of those spots.
