Eduardo Salazar agrees to minor league deal with Twins
by David Leisering | Tue, Feb 3rd 2:10pm EST
Eduardo Salazar has agreed to a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins. The righthander will presumably head to major league spring training as part of the agreement. (Jon Heyman on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Salazar struggled to an 8.38 ERA and a 2.17 WHIP in 29 innings with the Washington Nationals last season. However, in 2024, the righthander posted a combined 2.76 ERA in 29.1 innings with the Nationals and Dodgers. He has a 5.99 ERA in 70.2 big league innings and a 4.43 ERA across 553 career minor league frames. He'll have an opportunity to break camp with a wide-open Twins' bullpen if he has a good spring.
