Fantasy Impact:
Baez and Major League Baseball, who allows for marijuana use, attempted to allow Baez to participate for Puerto Rico in the upcoming WBC, but were unsuccessful. The veteran earned an All-Star appearance in 2025 after a bounce-back first half, but struggled mightily down the stretch and ended up with an 86 wRC+ across 126 games.
