Framber Valdez as advertised in first Tigers start
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Sat, Mar 28th 8:16am EDT
Tigers left-hander Framber Valdez was rock-solid in his Tigers debut, tossing six innings of one-run ball in an eventual no-decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez scattered seven hits on the evening while walking one and striking out five in a game his team would eventually go on to win 5-2. The veteran left-hander came to Detroit as one of the game's most reliable pitchers over the last six seasons, posting an ERA between 2.82 and 3.66 from 2020-2025. He will look to earn his first win as a Tiger in his next scheduled start on April 3 against the visiting Cardinals.
