Gonzalez is reportedly a bit behind schedule for the start of Spring Training, as he is still rehabbing from shoulder inflammation. The versatile 29-year-old is coming off a bit of a breakout season, as he posted an .826 OPS with 35 extra-base hits and 53 RBI across 96 games for the Red Sox in 2025. Gonzalez received a PRP shot a few weeks ago and still has his eyes set on Opening Day.
